RMF @ Wacken 2023 – Part 2: Our members and friends on stage

As stated in our previous post, we will be once again representing our Metalhead Fellowship at this years Wacken Open Air festival with our own booth. However, this is not the only way that the RMF will be present at the W:O:A 2023. Quite more spectacular, though … one of our RMF members will be live on stage!

Yeah, damn right! He’ll be rocking out in front of thousands of metalheads.

Which sounds like a dream come true for nearly all metal musicians, is more or less the daily business of our dear hard-rocking amigo Frank Heim, who is the bass player of the German medieval metal band Saltatio Mortis. They will be playing on the Harder main stage on Saturday, Aug 5, from 7:15 – 8:30 pm – right after Killswitch Engage and before Heaven Shall Burn.

Check out Saltatio Mortis’ new song:

… but wait, there is more!!

Also, Hostage will be playing a gig at this year’s W:O:A. The German newcomer band from Aachen, who are our friends and with whom we have done a fundraiser for World Cancer Day, will be live on the LGH Clubstage on Tuesday, Aug. 1, from 1:00 – 2:00 pm.

Make sure to show up as they will deliver a kick-ass show! We want to see you all headbang and mosh like  you´ve never done before!

… and last but not least, there is a third must-see for all (RMF) metalheads.

On Saturday, Aug. 5, from 3:00 – 3:45 pm the Swiss, all-female power metal band Burning Witches will be kicking asses on the W:E:T Stage. The band’s lead singer is Laura Guldemond who has been part of the Rotarian campaign “Don’t bottle it up” from the Rotarians 4 Mental Health initiative.
